    • Choose the number of coats you want to apply.

    • Set the paint coverage rate based on your chosen brand or product.

How to Use the Paint Calculator:

Follow these simple steps to get your precise paint estimate:

  1. Select Unit System:
Choose either Meters or Feet depending on your preferred measurement system.

  2. Choose What You Are Painting:

    • Single Wall: Calculate the paint needed for just one wall.

    • Entire Room: Calculate the paint needed for all four walls of a room (you’ll need to enter both Length and Width).

  3. Enter Wall Dimensions:

    • Length: The horizontal measurement of the wall or room.

    • Width: (only shown if calculating a room) The side-to-side dimension of the room.

    • Height: The vertical measurement from floor to ceiling.

  4. Enter Number of Coats:

    • Default is 1 coat. Increase if you plan to apply 2 or more coats for deeper color or better coverage.

  5. Input Paint Coverage:

    • This is the area one liter (or one gallon) can cover.

    • Check your paint can label — typical values are around 10 m² per liter or 350 ft² per gallon.

  6. Subtract Windows and Doors:

    • Number of Windows: How many windows are on the wall(s)?

    • Area of Each Window: Approximate the size (standard windows are about 1.5 m² or 15 ft²).

    • Number of Doors: How many doors on the wall(s)?

    • Area of Each Door: A standard door is about 2 m² or 20 ft².

  7. Calculate:

    • Click the “Calculate Paint Needed” button.

    • Instantly see the exact amount of paint required, adjusted for doors, windows, number of coats, and unit type!
