Download your Google My Maps as KML, drop it here, enter your address — get the nearest stops and the shortest route.

📘 How to use this tool
1Load the map data

Export the points from the Google My Maps map:

  • Open the map and click ⋮ next to its title.
  • Choose Download KML/KMZ → Entire map.
  • Tick “Export to a .KML file”, then Download.
  • Drag the file into the Map data box (or click it to browse).

The data is remembered in this browser, so you only do this once.

2Set your home
  • Type your address (e.g. 123 Portage Ave, Winnipeg) and press Find.
  • Or tap 📍 Use my location.
  • Or simply click anywhere on the map.

If several matches appear, pick the right one from the list.

3Find stops near you
  • Drag Radius to widen or narrow the search area (orange circle).
  • Show up to limits how many stops are listed.
  • Use the Layers chips to show or hide categories.
  • Stops are numbered from nearest to farthest; tap a name to zoom to it.
4Plan your route
  • Click + Add to route on the stops you want, or Pick 8 nearest.
  • The tool orders them into the shortest loop (purple dashed line).
  • Choose Walking / Cycling / Driving and toggle Return home.
  • Press Open route in Google Maps for turn-by-turn directions.
💡 Tips: Distances and times are straight-line estimates — real routes are a little longer. Google Maps accepts up to 9 stops per route, so for longer trips split them into two routes. Use Directions ↗ on any stop to go straight there.
